Privacy Notice

1. This website

These pages set no cookies, run no analytics, and load nothing from another company. The type is served from this site, not from a font service. The home page and the pricing page ask our own platform how many founding places are left; that request carries nothing about you beyond what any page load does, and nothing is kept from it.

If you use the contact form, we keep what you type (your current website's address, your name, and your phone or email) so we can reply. If you email us, we keep the email for the same reason. We do not add you to a mailing list.

2. Your account, once you are a customer

What we keep

• Your business name, and the names, email addresses and roles of the people you add.
• Your sites' details: the address of your current site, what we read from it, your answers to our questions, your domain, and the record of the move.
• The log of who changed what on your site, and when.
• Your help requests and our replies.
• Your invoices and whether they were paid. Card details never reach us.
• Sign in codes and connection keys, kept only in scrambled (hashed) form. Codes work once and run out after minutes.

Nothing else. There are no passwords, because there are none to keep.

Why

To run your account and your site, to reach you about them, to bill you, and to keep the record of changes that lets a change be undone and shows an owner who did what. We do not sell or share information about you, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it lives, and who handles it

• Your account data is in a PostgreSQL database on Render, in Oregon, United States, reachable only by the platform and by H-Star. Render Services, Inc., United States.
• Your site's files, every page, word and picture with every earlier version, are in a private GitHub repository. GitHub, Inc. (Microsoft), United States.
• Your site is served by Render from its worldwide network, over an encrypted connection.
• Payments go straight to Stripe. We see only that a payment was made. Stripe, Inc., United States.
• Emails from us, sign in codes and notices about your account and your site, are sent from H-Star's own mailbox. Microsoft 365, United States.
• Your Claude. Your Claude account is yours, under your own agreement with Anthropic. Your conversations stay in your account; Marquezee never sees them. It sees only the changes Claude sends to your site, and records who sent them.
• Designing your site. When we design it, your site's public pages and pictures (what anyone can already see online) are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write the design, under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not allow training on them.

Who can see it

The people you add to your business, each within their role, and the people at H-Star who run the service. Nobody else. We share your information with the companies above only as far as they need it to do their part, and with the authorities only if the law requires it.

How long

For as long as you are a customer. When your plan ends, ask and we send you a full copy of your site's files and your account's data. We delete your account and your data when you say so (Account, Delete), and in any case within ninety days of the end of your plan.

3. Visitors to your site

Your site is yours, and the people who visit it are your visitors. New sites we build set no cookies of their own and run no tracking. Maps and videos from other companies load only when a visitor allows them. Every site has its own Privacy page and Accessibility statement, written from its facts and linked from its footer. If your site links to or embeds a service you already use, such as reservations or ordering, that service's own notice applies to what it collects.

4. What you can ask for

• A copy of what we hold about you and your business.
• A correction, if something is wrong.
• Deletion of your account and your data.
• An explanation of anything here.

Owners can see the log of who changed what, and download it, from their account. For everything else, ask from your account's help page or write to hello@hstarcap.com. We answer within a working day where we can, and always within thirty days.

5. Children

Marquezee is a service for businesses and is not meant for anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly keep information about children.

6. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice in a way that matters to you, we email the owners of your business before the change takes effect. The date at the top says when it last changed.
